As a CPQ Consultant, you will work together with clients and their Business Development, IT, Sales Operations and Product Management departments to develop their business processes – from lead to lifecycle services and beyond.
You will dive deep into their product portfolio to understand the product DNA & configurability and map how the data moves within and between the systems. In addition to defining the business framework, you will also build CPQ solutions and get hands-on with the technology.
-Understand customers’ end-to-end processes & system landscape (beyond CRM and CPQ) and plan the optimal to-be setup that will make them succeed
-Engage with customers’ business and technical staff to find the right solutions
-Be confident in leading discovery workshops with the customer and challenge the customers’ thinking and status quo
-Configure CPQ solutions, as well as related Salesforce Clouds (e.g. Sales and Service Community/Experience Clouds) -Understand software implementation procedures from requirement specifications to deployment
-Helping their sales team by participating in presales and provide input to proposals & work estimates
-Proactively engage with their customers to find new projects and other opportunities for our customer
-CPQ solutions are parts of transforming sales & delivery operations and you will help customers to build new business models and architecture which will meet the demands of the future society centred around big data, AI and automation.
The skills we are looking for:
-Understanding of customers’ process, product structure and system architecture also in complex industries such as manufacturing
-Understanding of CPQ or technical configurations
-Problem-solving, logical thinking and analysis
-Good communication skills, the ability to present technical topics to people with or without a technical background
-On top of all, you want to build and grow things. You want to create your own way without forgetting the customer requirements. You are a problem solver who does not get confused when introduced with customers’ process, product structure and system architecture diagrams.
You appreciate logical thinking and analysis. CPQ solutions transform long-reaching business processes and handle complex product structures with constraints and rules – you need to get on top and bottom and middle of those. This requires system thinking and also sometimes mathematical skills – in the end, complexity is reduced into numbers. For example, the following backgrounds will definitely help you get going: M.Sc. or B.Sc. in e.g. Engineering, Systems Analysis, Mathematics, Computer Science or similar/related science Background in Product Management, Business Development, Technical Sales, IT Solution Architecture, Process Owner or similar Experience from the manufacturing industry or other industry with complex products and processes Studies in business/economics provide good support (as always) If you don’t have all of these, don’t be afraid to demonstrate to us how you make logic an art: we need ambitious people with a passion for problem-solving, puzzles and finding out things together with our team and customers.
